Jen Nickolaus
Hello,I am Jen Nickolaus owner of PC Local Creations, LLC and artist. I moved to Panama City, Florida from Wisconsin in April of 2022. While living in Wisconsin I owned and managed a daycare center until retiring in 2014. I continue to work as an independent travel agent.
After retirement from daycare and many years working out of my private studio, I established PC Local Creations, LLC in November of 2025. My art keeps me busy creating. I enjoy acrylic pour painting, jewelry making, resin creations, and learning new techniques. I specialize in offering customize pieces.
Susie Herrington
Susie moved to the Panama City, Florida area from Elkhart, Indiana in 2018. She has been visually impaired since birth. However, with great doctors and innovative technology, they were able to restore vision in one eye. The transition has been and continues to be quite a journey for her. She is now ready to return to the art world, creating and teaching. She is a pastelist and enjoys watercolors, acrylic, oils and multi-media works.
Susie is a past member of the Midwest Museum of Art. She is also a past member of the Elkhart Art League where she studied pastels with Phill Monteith, PSA from 2004-2018 along with a variety of other artists. In 2010 she was featured in the Elkhart Truth as well as participating in the Elkhart Artwork Summer of 2017.
With the support and encouragement of Mary Morgan, HUMS instructor and other wonderful staff of Ivy Tech College, she graduated in 2018 with honors and an associates degree in applied science in the Human Service Field. She served as student ambassador and is an alum of Phi Theta Kappa and the NSLS. Susie also learned braille through the Hadley Institute for the Blind and Visually Impaired wanting to implement it into her creations.
Phill Monteith and Mary Morgan have been her teachers, mentors, now friends, and greatest inspiration to continue creating art. Creative ideas come from seeing nature and humanity, her goal is to bring joy to others through her art.
